Prayer Room

Prayer Room is a great resource when you need prayer or want to learn more about prayer.

Although prayer can sometimes seem mysterious, and something that is difficult to do, it's not. Prayer is a simple thing. Our creator defines prayer simply as "asking".

You see...when we pray, we must humble ourselves and admit our weakness. We cannot really exist fully without asking. If we had all of the resources and things we need to live, then asking and prayer would not be necessary.

But, when God gave us the priviledge of asking in prayer, he created a relationship. He is the Creator. We are the creatures. Although we can do many things on our own, when things get tough, we MUST rely on Him...and ask.

And, one can never truly "ask" unless they are in a true relationship. Otherwise, instead of asking, we "command and demand". And, that will cause us to have strong expectations...deepening the commands and demands. That's never a healthy relationship. So, it won't work with God, either.

We must simply ask, in prayer. We must hope, and we must have faith, but as for me, I don't want to command and demand anything from God. I just want him to be my friend...trusting that I can ask Him anything in prayer...any time...and he will always hear me...and do what is best for me. Every time.

So...why this site?

We are in the initial stages of development for Prayer Room. We encourage you to return frequently. We will be adding fresh content every day or two, and will eventually make Prayer Room become an interactive prayer site, allowing you to ask for prayer, and offer prayer - and support each other in our life adventures.
